Characteristics and performance

1. Good dimensional stability

The thermosetting resin matrix is crosslinked by heating during processing to form a body-shaped network structure, and its products have good dimensional stability under normal conditions and small post-shrinkage after molding. The shape and size of the product change little under long-term continuous load, that is, the creep property is small. Its creep performance depends on the load, temperature and loading time. Therefore, at present, it is widely used in the manufacture of corrosion-resistant products, which has played a good role in the corrosion of some media (such as hydrochloric acid, chlorine, carbon dioxide, dilute sulfuric acid, sodium hypochlorite and sulfur dioxide) that stainless steel can't cope with.

5. Good surface characteristics of FRP pultruded profiles.

When composite materials contact with chemical media, there is little corrosion and scaling on the surface, so they are often used to make fluid pipelines, which have small internal resistance and low friction coefficient, saving a lot of power. Because composite materials are generally not as easy to produce metal ions to pollute the medium as metals, this is also the reason why composite products are widely used in food and hospital industries.
